The loss of a family much loved and cherished pet can often be overwhelming and is indeed a very sad time for all concerned. It is something we do not like to think about or imagine, however at some stage in our pet’s life there must be a time of parting.

As humans we bond very closely with our pets and as they become part of the family the love grows between family members and their pet. Pets do not ask for anything but food and love and yet return to us so much joy and companionship that often makes our life complete. It is a fact we need them.

Grieving and mourning the loss of a loved companion that plays such an important role in our life is integral to our day to day existence. It becomes part of our life cycle. When it comes to our loved pets it becomes part of theirs too, as we are just as important to them.

However there is some help at hand, if only in making the loss of a pet a little easier. Pets at Peace offer a service that helps a little with the ‘after care’ of a pet at the ending of their life.

We provide a door to door service that includes us picking up your pet from your home or your vet (with care and dignity), we individually cremate your pet at our privately owned and operated pet crematorium. We then return your pet’s ashes to your home or your vet in one of our handcrafted urns  within 4 – 10 working days.
